Grace Community: 25 Years and Counting!!!
In our fast-paced society, companies, corporations, and institutions
come and go on a regular basis. Neighborhoods, cities, and towns change
dramatically over a very brief span of time. It's rare to find any
place that's been around for more than a handful of years. Many of the
seemingly permanent landmarks of our society haven't been around for
even a decade - Facebook is only six years old!
Twenty-five years ago, Ronald Reagan was president. Gas cost $0.89 a
gallon, and "Burning Heart" by Survivor was the #1 song. And Grace
Community Schools was founded, with our first location opening up on
Outer Drive in Naples, Florida on February 3, 1986. Now in 2011, we
have eight locations and more on the way. More than two thousand
students across Southwest Florida attend Grace Community Schools every
single day.
While there have been changes over the years, we at Grace Community can
say they have been for the better. Far from being a cold, monolithic
conglomerate we're still the same caring, personable educators we've
always been - only better! The principles Grace Community was founded
on have stood the test of time. College still begins at two, and our
preschoolers continue to learn to read year after year after year. We
are pleased to have brought an uncompromising, distinctly Christian
education to our students for the past twenty-five years as the oldest
and most established early learning institution in Southwest Florida.
Times have changed, but the importance of a good education has not
diminished. An education at Grace Community School, established on
sound academics and Christian morals, lays a sure foundation for life.
As our society has become more and more technological in nature, the
knowledge and skill sets needed to survive in society have become far
more numerous and complex. However, the basics are still just as
necessary. No other childcare center in Southwest Florida has the track
record of Grace Community. Instead of daycare, why not the school that
has taught children to read for a quarter century?

Grace Community Schools has been southwest Florida's leader in early childhood education since 1986. Our innovative approach to early childhood education has helped many children begin reading before Kindergarten. We believe that reading builds self-esteem and a sense of accomplishment, something that is necessary for every child. Not only will your child begin the steps toward literacy, but they will have fun doing it! Much of our instruction is through learning games, which make for an optimum learning experience. |

The most important decision that you make for your child's life is that of early childhood education. A poor start in education could make it difficult or even impossible for your child to succeed throughout the educational process. Attending Grace Community School provides your child with every advantage necessary to succeed in his or her chosen path. |
|
Grace Community Schools offers not only superior education, but superior recreation. Most outdoor playtimes feature organized play and games. These activites allow your child to safely have the maximum benefit of outdoor play. Studies have shown that children who learn early to participate with a group of peers toward a common goal are better able to achieve individual academic and athletic goals later in life. These children are also more likely to be comfortable in a social setting. |
