It’s way more than babysitting! Instead of daycare, why not school?
Grace Community School’s programs grow with your child. From each age group whether infant, toddlers, on up through preschool and kindergarten, families can find a program to best support their needs. Our preschool themes make each week special, and there are dress-up days, parties, art projects, and special events throughout our school year. In addition to the core subjects, our available karate, dance, art, and music classes are a great way for your child to explore their interests and talents. We have non-denominational Bible Time twice a day, and musical concerts for parents every spring and Christmas.

Health and safety are our priorities. All of our staff are first-aid and CPR certified. Our schools have a two-way intercom system so our office can communicate with teachers, and each classroom has a security camera so management can keep tabs on everything.

All Grace Community School classrooms are under observation by management.
A Day in Our Three-Year-Old Class
The day begins with teacher-directed activities during drop off time, then breakfast. After that comes morning Bible Time, then free play and outdoor recess during which the children can explore the classroom and interact with their classmates. This will be followed by organized learning times, story time, songs, and other activities. The morning will also include opportunities for art and science projects, as well as time for active play. After lunch and rest time, the afternoon has more structured activities, such as learning letters and numbers, along with exercise and song time. There are also frequent bathroom breaks because kids in these rooms are working on potty training (and we can help with that!). By the end of the day, your child will have had a well-rounded experience that will leave them eagerly anticipating their next visit to school.

A mix of structured and self-directed activities lets us teach academics while still giving the kids plenty of time for pretend and play. Kids at this age are getting better at learning to talk, and by building social skills and self confidence they are boosting a variety of developmental domains.
Proper child development needs good nutrition. Healthy breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack are included free in your tuition. If your child has any allergies, please let us know so we can make sure to accommodate them.
We are excited to get to know you and your family! Please feel free to schedule a tour of our facility or contact us with any questions you may have about our three-year-old programs.

Prepare Your Child for Preschool
Most people believe that learning to read is a skill that is only acquired later in life. However, our phonics early literacy program makes it possible for preschoolers to start learning to read at an early age. The key to our program is its focus on phonics. Phonics is the ability to understand the relationship between the sounds of spoken language and the letters of written language. By teaching children phonics, we are able to give them the tools they need to sound out words and read on their own. Our program has been proven to be effective, and we have seen firsthand how it can transform a child’s ability to learn. Grace Community School’s “Reading Circles” help your child develop the skills they need to become a successful reader.

Our 3-year-old program is designed to give your child a strong foundation in both reading and math. In addition to teaching phonics, we also include advanced developmentally appropriate math concepts. This ensures that your child is prepared for success in kindergarten and beyond. Some of the math concepts we cover include counting, sorting, patterns, and shapes. We also expose our students to numbers up to 100. By providing a well-rounded education, our goal is to help your child reach their full potential.
When it comes to early childhood education, academics are important. However, research shows that social and emotional development is just as important for success in school and in life. That’s why Grace Community School takes a “whole child” approach to education, preparing 3-year-olds for preschool and kindergarten. Our program goes beyond the basics of ABCs and 123s. We also teach important skills like communication, cooperation, and problem-solving. As a result, our students are better prepared for the challenges of school and beyond. If you’re looking for a preschool program that will give your child a head start in life, come check us out. We would be happy to show you what makes Grace Community School special.
