Toddler Childcare
Are you looking for a daycare for your 1-year-old? Our toddler daycare program is perfect for kids once they move beyond the infant year. We provide a loving and educational environment that helps give your child a solid foundation for their future. It’s a great age to start daycare!
Grace Community School has plenty of opportunities for exploration and hands-on learning in a safe environment. Your child will have so much fun while they’re here, and you can rest assured knowing that they’re in good hands.

We know that every child is unique, and we tailor our program to meet the particular needs of each one with individualized care. We also work closely with parents to ensure that we’re meeting their expectations and providing the best possible care for their children.
Caregivers help children learn and build self-esteem in a group setting through play, problem-solving, and activities from the College Can Begin at 2 Curriculum. Every aspect of our research-based curriculum is geared towards helping child development and preparing children for success in pre-school and beyond.
Quality early learning programs improve language, build social skills through positive peer relationships with other children, help children gain self-help skills, provide opportunities for motor development, and much more.

Teachers use activities from the College Can Begin at 2 Curriculum to support child development across all the developmental domains.
Days Filled With Fun and Learning

Our daily schedules offer a variety of activities and areas that are designed to stimulate your child’s mind and body, including story time, sensory experiences, music and movement, outside time, and more.
Our caregivers know that children learn best when they aren’t bored, so they switch up the activities every 10 to 15 minutes. This keeps children engaged and allows them to explore new things. Whether it’s singing songs, reading stories, or playing games, your child will be constantly engaged in fun and educational activities.
Sometimes it may look like just play, but each and every activity has a goal in mind. The 12-24 months age year is extremely important for language development. Children are constantly building vocabulary, learning simple words, and even forming sentences. These early steps are the beginning of literacy. Our caregivers provide plenty of opportunities for your child to practice their communication skills through conversation, books, and songs. The best way to encourage verbal skills is to talk to your baby!
Additionally, we believe that every interaction is an opportunity for learning, so we make sure to fill each day with purposeful interactions that help your child grow and develop.
It’s also a huge developmental year for motor skills. One-year-olds are working on standing, walking, and climbing. We provide a safe and supportive environment for your child to explore their physical abilities. Our classrooms are filled with age-appropriate toys and furniture that encourage gross and fine motor skills. Fine motor skills are being developed as children learn to pick up small objects, turn pages in a book, and build towers out of blocks. Counting practice begins early numeracy.
Your child’s health is important. Grace Community School’s food program provides healthy and delicious meals for your child. Free breakfast, lunch, and snacks are served daily. Our menu features fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and lean protein.
