What are School Programs all about?
Twice a year Grace Community School students put on musical shows for our parents. Our students practice for more than two months for every show learning the lyrics, movements, and parts. It's a big deal! These shows are among our most anticipated events of the entire year.
The programs are a fantastic way for the students to show their families and friends what they have learned, and kids love singing. Each show has new songs the children have learned, and everyone is welcome to come to our programs. Attendance is free, just get to the show early to get your seats! Many times grandparents, aunts, uncles and other family members schedule their vacation times so they can come. Everyone has a great time!
Programs take place twice a year: during the Christmas season and at the end of the school year in the spring. We announce the program dates, times, and venues for each show on this website and school social media.
The annual Christmas program features a recital from the Grace Community School Dance Class, complete with dance costumes for both girls and boys. Our spring program has graduation ceremonies for Grace Community School Pre-K and Kindergarten classes.
